Ingredients:

Dough:

2 1/4 tsp yeast

4 1/2 AP flour

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup white sugar

1/3 cup butter

1 cup warm milk

2 eggs or

2tsp Baking powder

2 Table spoons ultra light olive oil

2 Table spoons water

Filling:

1 cup brown sugar

2 1/2 T cinnamon

1/3 cup butter

Icing:

8 oz cream cheese

1/2 cup butter

2 3/4 cups confectioners sugar

1 tsp vanilla

Pinch of salt

Directions:

Prepare your yeast: on a container place the yeast with 1teaspoon of sugar, add water, enough to cover the yeast, set aside & let yeast activate. Place your flour on your stand mixer with the hook attachment. Add the sugar and mix. In the meantime place your cup of water on the microwave for a minute. Add it to your yeast. Melt your butter, for a minute in the microwave. Add it to your milk & yeast mixture. Finally add the baking powdered, olive oil & water. Once all is mixed add it to your flower and sugar, knead for 5 minutes, place inside a bowl and let it rise for 1 hr or 2.

Once it doubled in size, flatten on a surface dusted with flour, add your butter and filling. Roll the dough cut it, and place it in a baking pan. Let it rise for 1 more hour or until doubled. Once ready bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes or until golden.

While they are being baked, prepare your frosting: soften your butter, add your cream cheese, add the powdered sugar and vanilla.

When buns are ready add the frosting, some of it let the rest once you are ready to serve them!
